The antenna
The beacon antenna is a 10dBi slotted waveguide enclosed in a plastic "pill box" and attached directly to the top of the outdoor unit. No actual detailed plot has been made, but the antenna is identical to that in use at GB3FNM, and an idea of its polar plot is shown below superimposed on a map.
